I was thinking about making a pet specificaly for the DWB. This pet would of course need very high Blast resists and Kinetic resists to match. Im sure this pet wont tank long as it will probably make it past the first few droids and fall to the side. It could help get everyone warmed up though. So, the question:

What kind of DNA samples would you suggest for such a pet? THis pet will need to be less than a lvl 20. (im not a MCH. A smaller skin would also probably be preffered as to not interfere with everyones targeting. Maybe a merrek?

Anyways, Im off to start collecting.

Really doubt you'd get anywhere close at level 20. For it to have ANY chance of surviving more than the first kritter it will need to be light armour and maxed kinetic and blast ( and energy i guess ). Impossible in a low level pet. You'd be better off with a Droid at that level.

Well an insane mantigrue berserker will give you 100% blast protection and 50% kinetic and energy - but will be cl50+. If you got a really dedicated BE this can be brough down (through multi-generation cloning) quite a bit (at the cost of offensive capability) but the dna is tricky to collect and given the initial cl it would be a hugely painful process for the be to get it down to a much lower level.

Otherwise ancient grauls and frenzied grauls could be your friend. Energy levels are lower 45% and 35% respectively and blast is 70% and 90% - maybe if the be mixed it with some seething bol (80% blast) you could keep armour and get the cl down.

But however its done their work is going to be cut for them!

Good luck

Thanks for the ideas guys. Im going to be making this pet so all headaches and such will fall to me. I guess i should go get some more CH xp and just go for a higher CL pet. Might be fun to see how low I can get it while keeping the traits that make it effective.

I guess I could mention that im a master swordsman also so it just needs to absorbe damage. The To hit and damage factors weigh very little in this pet.

Let the headache begin.
