Hi,
Having just made Master I thought I would try the VD/VD/VD/HP/HP recipe in the FAQ. Before experimentation, the template always shows a Kinetic resist of 0. Is this normal? If I put 1 point of experimentation into physique the resist jumps to 15. The template then comes out at level 12. Am I doing something wrong?
Some extra pointers about how best to use experimentation points, if at all, would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
John

Bah!
Please don't bother to reply anyone I have already discovered my mistake
The recipe states VD/VD/HP/HP/HP so why did I use VD/VD/VD/HP/HP. LOL.
In the future I will make sure that I RTFFAFAQ properly.
Now how do I salvage these pets ....
Regards,
John

You can resample them or sell / give them to novice CHers.... there are nice pets and a bit better then the wild ones out there at that level. At least it can hurt to try.

I did resample them. Got about 3.5K/2.5K/2K pets out of it. Some of them were still level 11 or 12 though. I still have a lot to learn.

You can resample the 11's and 12's and mix them with yard trash like a minor worrt or lesser womp same as the VD HP recipe. Experiment to get the health and action up a bit. You won't get the super high HAM CL10's some people make but you'll have marketable non-creature handler animals without wasting all the DNA you harvested. Put them in mount bodies. If you sell them outside a starport they'll go quickly.

A lot of us have had that problem (CL too high) with the VD/VD/HP/HP/HP recipe. You can try substituting nightspider or hermit spider dna for the huurton pup, or you can try VD/HP/HP/HP/HP. Both seem to hit (or come in just below) CL10 more frequently.
