I'm new to BE and stumbled across a possibly useful formula while experimenting with non-CH clones.
The formulastarts with
VD VD
BBS BBS
MDH
Maxed physiqe and psychology. Thisproduces a creature with CL15-16 with 2% kinetic resist, about 280-290damage and strong poison/strong disease as specials. I resample this creature then use
MH MH
1st 1st
1st
Maxed physiqe and psychology again. This produces a creature with:
CL: 20-21
Light Armor
50% Kinetic
H=11500
A=7000
M=4500
Damage=240-250
S1: strong poison
S2: strong disease
Key: MH=merek harvester, MDH=Merek Death Head, BBS=Bolle Bol Stomper, VD=Voritor Dasher
I should note that the few times that I tried it, the fortitude barely broke 500 when Physique was at its maximum. This looks like it could be a possibly useful triples pet at this stage but there is defintely room for improvement as the CL could suffer to be raised by 1-4 levels and still be a useful triple pet.
My questions are:
1) Should I experiment better? I have 3-6 experimentation points at each step that are unused. Should I pump these into aggression to raise the damage?
2) Is there a more preferable set of specials for triples aside from strong poison/strong disease that I could clone in instead?
3) Is there a a way to raise the Kinetic resist to 59-60%?
4) Did I use the right DNA in the right slots? Or are there better alternatives?
Any help is appreciated

MH = Merek Harvester
MDH = Merek Death's Head
BBS = Bolle Bol Stomper
You will see "MH" everywhere. Quite possibly alot more often than VD
Such an important creature for us BEs. Sample whenever you see them!

If you look closely, halfway through my post I placed a key:

those would be good for grind tanks, you should try to get them with better specials to make them really usefull.
Intimidate
Blind
Stun
Dizzy
Crip Strike
Taunt

the best triplet sets are going to use 3 different formulae to get 3 different special sets. IMO the best set of specials for triplets for PvE is intim/cs stun/cs dizzy/blind. You can stick the intim stun and dizzy with the first round; stun takes a round of combat away from the enemy when it sticks. Next round, you stick the blind, and you have two CS to try to keep NPCs pinned down since its harder to stick that special.
Also its kind of a back-assed method to get triplets, bringing it down to CL15 and then up to triplet levels. Most good formulae require slowly bringing down the level from something higher to preserve better HAM and damage, but kudos on your imagination =)
I use a similar formula to make nonCH pets, but the first gen I use is MH MH BBS MA MA (merek assassin) and that generally gives me CL20 maxwith 60% kin vuln rest dizzy/strong poison and 10kish HAM, if you max all your experiment points. You can try MH MH BBS MA MH to get AR1 if you want, since you have a higher CL requirement than I was working toward, or you can do Gen1 Gen1 Gen 1 Gen 1 X for specials (Rancor for Stun/Intim and AR1 for instance, etc)

LOL yeah, like I said I stumbled upon it accidentally while making non-CH clones
It was indeed my fear that it was an intrinsically flawed method for making triplets from the beginning since the 1st Gen clone had such low fortitude.

Interesting
. I'm gonna have to try making these!

As I am not yet a master BE, I cannot give an authoritative answer, but here it goes...
2) I think Intimidate is very good special to have. Your pets will need less healing. Also, if you have a profession with Knockdown specials, dizzy should be good, too. CHs are blessed with free specials so having 3 pets with good/varying specials is one of the highlight of being a CH I would say.
3) In the following thread, Preloaded described how you can get good triplets level pets with kinetic 60%. Basically, he concluded that your first generation pet has to have at least 33% kinetic resists in order to get 60% kinetic resists when mixed with MH.
