Thread: **Info on CL 10 Mounts What BE's CAN and CANNOT Do!**
Oh the problem isn't that we can't make the mountsat level 10. The problem is that when they grow to full level 10 size you can't put a saddle on them now because they get buried under it.
It was decreed by the devsthat the size of a BE pet should reflect the level of the pet. This is scaled vs. the max wild level (we think).
Worth repeating for the zillionth time:
mountable if BE-made at level 10:
- falumpaset
- dewback
too small if BE-made at level 10:
- kaadu
- carrion spat
- bantha
- brackaset
- cu pa
- bol
Any of the above that you see mounted at level 10 that have been created since this 'fix' came in are going to be wild tamed pets caught by CH's and sold to the public.
Additionally, only CH's can make pets grow at all now so they are crucial to the mounting process. In the words of my CH friend last night 'Gee that took a heck of a lot of work to get that Cu pa up to full size (a wild level 10) I'm thinking about charging a million credits if it has a level 3 special on it.'
And that's the gospel truth!
(Lamm can you sticky this info instead of the outdated one that's up there?)
Ok, so I'm going on a little faith here since i read the forums regularly: class 10 BE'd dews and falumpas CAN be mounted when fully grown...
Only thing is...made some, sold several on the vendor and finally get around to growing one to train mount for a client...guess what? Too small to mount. Class 10, 2600Health 128dmg...fully grown pet after the leveling grind.
Am i missing something there or did i just get a fluke? This is highly disturbing to say the least. Any constructive input would be appreciated at this point...thanks![]()
I just hate misleading a client![]()

D'oh, what's next?
Nothing hopefully,. happened well over a month a go, and *fingers crossed* nothing has changed since.

how much do you charge for non ch BE pets? and is their a good market for it?
myself on chim i sell for ... 1k per level up to 20, 2k per level from 20 to 30, 3k per level from 30 to 50, then 4k per level after that

Just don't train it's third ability, and the creature will continue to gain levels and grow. I'm still working through this with a CL 7 gurnaset that I've been building. He's up to my Wook's eye now, and I'm watching to see if he gets bigger. I'll update when I get a result.
Pets DO stop growing regardless of if they are 'fully trained' or not. It would be nice if that were the case though.
So what, in a way, the devs are forcing yall to do is become buds with a CH. hehe. but don't get to down about not being able to BE a level 10 cu pa as a mount, there are plenty of lazy CH's like me that will gladly buy a higher level cu pa so we don't have to take two hours to find the wild spawn. lol.
Also, if yall need a good CH on corbantis to help you out. I am a MCH. I will gladly mature the pets for ya. just split the money you sell it for with me. my guild has lots of spin grinds so i can maturelow level pets at a good rate. and it doesn't btoher me. lol. i like it (it lets me just hang with friends, and its relatively easy, just time consuming)
I think that you can only mount those types is both a gift and a burden. burden, for obvious reasons, because your sales/money will drop, but also good in that a tighter bond will form between the CH and BE communities. judge what you want. the only people it really hurts is the hardcore BE's who are practically addicted to SWG. hehe.
As a final note, be happy that the dev;s haven't made it so that CH's can sell their tamed wild pets.... think how much your sales would drop if they did that? lol.
thats my two cents, from st-x swanson , a MR/MCH on corbantis.

I'm a MCH too but I spend so much time doing the MBE thing I don't even have time to grow my own pets...lol, how embarassing![]()
Old information, dewbacks got borked too, we cannot make them mountable either unless they are over CL10

Not true at all... I have engineered and raised 15 cl10 non-ch mounts in the last week. I have no idea what you are doing wrong.

You managed to get dewbacks that are exactly cl10 and bio-engineered to be mounts? oooh they must have been stealth fixed, cos almost every BE who has tried recently has not been able to. aybe witht he new CH system they fixed some of the mounts, will have to recheck sometime.
