Does anyone take time to enjoy the new content a little at a time? JTL has barely beenout 2 weeks and in the first week or so, I saw a couple of Master Pilots and a gazillion Master Shipwrights. Now...I see dozens of Master Pilots in a few hours of being on. I hope these people are happy with their JTL purchase and looking forward to combat upgrade.

The combat upgrade is next and not a peep I shall hear about high level content for JTL.

lol i'm 3333 and i only play it on and off. It is incredibly easy to level up and that is where the problem remains. They tried to make it quest based however, it is very easy to group with higher level pilots and them complete your quest for you. For instance, last night I was stuck and I asked a m. pilot guild mate of mine to help. All he did was fire a space bomb off and that was it. Mission over.

JTL is pretty good although pvp needs a serious looking at. Missiles are too powerful (and are bugged with many cases of the min dmg being higher than the max dmg) and it only takes 2 or 3 well directed blaster fires to disable someone's ship.

It just seems to me that there is very little actualy "content" at all in JTL other than missions and grinding. The whole "duty" thing just reeks of an unfinished implementation and I find it horribly horribly repetitive. It's a big hole that just begsto "insert content here".

I mastered fast because I wasn't afraid of running out of XP to grind--there's still tons left for me to do, from my perspective and interests. I like running a business--tho lately I've been slacking on that obviously, with the initial JTL excitement--but JTL is a great way for me to unwind. I find combat in the ground does not do this for me, because it is dependent upon many of the same things--strategically finding the greatest profitable route, etc--nothing to do with being in the moment. That's a simple thing, and exactly what I need to unwind, so I can happily slay rebel gunships for a couple hours and not feel bored.

Also, I've only just gotten started with my Decimator. The "POB" ships are really a remarkable feature, and while I think they need to be made tougher via stronger (and heavier) component availability, I still find it a blast every time I go up. The only downside to the fun I have here, even as Master and without and guided content, is the fact I don't have another Master to pilot the ship for a minute so I can go play engineer, etc etc

Sorry to hear you don't enjoy this kind of stuff--but I do!
