I am currently Master tkm master CH scout 4/0/4/0 brawler 4/0/0/0
I have 52 skill points left and want to throw them all at BE
what BE skill boxes would be the best to spend my 52 points on?
and what can I expect to do with the skills I get with these points?

I know this seems real vague but I really like the look of BE - i am wowed by the service they provide for ch being a master ch myself but dont know if it will be worth spending the points I have left which are not a lot I know. Please dont flame his post I don't know enough about BE to sound intelligent on the subject - so any advise will be much appreciated.

Thanks Zaal Swinari

if you want to make pets, clone eng. and DNA sampling lines. i have no idea how many SP those two take off the top of my head.

also, in game just go look at the BE profession(ctrl + S)and it will tell you what you can do at each level.

I know I could use the help or look on the skill tree to see what each skill offers in the game - BUT i don't know anything about BE trade and would like to know from people with a oice of experience about the trade which skill boxes at least would be best to go for I want to sample and clone creatures. Any HELP would be appreciated in some guidance in BE. Thanku

if you can get some of the experimentation line that would help, too.

Hi,

You will have to spend some pts to medic(Organic Chemistry4) as well. So you will only have 23 pts left for BE.

That said, if you are OK with making just Kaadus, I think 0-0-3-1 or 0-0-1-3 would give you a decent pet. But as a CH, you probably know how good cats are as pets and if you want to make gurrcats, you will have to spend 9 pts for Clone Engineering 2. So perhaps 2-0-1-0 or 2-0-0-1. Either way, unfortunately, it will be hard to make a really good BE pets with just 23 pts for BE. But fighting along with your own creation is something very special

Good luck!

oh yeah. i forgot about medic.

just give up one of your other professions and master BE. there's no point in going half way on it.

I have to agree with this. There is very little you can do with BE below the master level, mainly because you really need experimentation points.

The exception might be in making level 10 pets.

At 4044 you could make pretty decent pets. You wouldn't be able to sample the highest level creatures (which effectively means mutant rancor and to be honest you don't need them by any stretch of the imagination) and nor would you be able to make the full complement of animals; graul and rancor are the notable absentees.

This route would be a long, slow slog unless you also went up to Tissues 3 so you could grind on broad-spectrum nutrients and then drop tissues altogether when you completed the Cloning and Techniques branches. Doing this would limit you in the amount of skill points you had to spend on Sampling so you would not be able to level up DNA sampling (the most fun part) until you dropped the Tissues.

An alternative would be to get 0404 at which level you could make respectable tissues given good ingredients. I suspect that as a CH you would be more interested in the first choice.

Not only that but the amount of samples you can get from an animal will be significantly reduced. You also stand a higher risk of critically failing, sampling to death, death before you get a single sample, higher chance of agro (I think) due to sampling and also you miss out on a lot of cool skins. Plus you lose out on two experientation points, which often is not needed when making multi-gen pets or tanks, but for high hitter beasts it's vital.

You make it sound as if BE without the master box is worthless. Whilst I wouldn't agree with that it's a moot point since I forgot the medic requirement. That eats up 19 points and nerfs a potential BE template into what I would agree was uselessness.

Well I'm just saying that like all crafting professions - BE is not for dabbling in. Sure you could make decent pets with 4044, but surely the extra few SP would offer a much greater benefit then anything else you could be thinking about. It's far too difficult to build a crafter's template then can also hold its own agaisnt high end mobs / PvP, I know a guy who is MDE/MSwords and some medic / FS Skills but the only reason he is so good is because he has 90% base armour, acklay weapons, and is speed capped. In my opinion, I would only dabble in BE if I knew what I was doing and, tbh, if you have to ask for help with your template, then really dabbling shouldn't be attempted (no offence).
