The way Doctors and Chefs make food and buffs for players, id like to see Bio-Engineers the ability to create "special" buff packs for pets and "special" foods that would allow for pets to increase defences and damage.
What do you guys thing?

pets can't use shuttles, ride vehicles, and such.
pets poof across boundaries and in combat.
you can currently buff pets with the services of a doctor... but unless the doc is on-site, you're wasting the effort.

Actually not a bad idea......
However, it would mostly likely begreat deal easier fordevs to just plainly add secondary stats to "tamed" pets. Kind of like the moment they are called out of deedor tamed in the wild...they magically (event-driven) get their secondary stats. Maybe make it a set percentage of each primary HAM bar......maybe 30%.
Of course, ifthe devsgave thisidea an inkling ofmerit....
We may all have to re-learn the whole clone system over as it would probably throw the CL completely into the wind.....as if it's not already there....lol.
Anyway, I like to at least give credit forcreative ideas......

lol so that would be what, 4200 on each secondary stat for a 14k14k14k CL70 pet? Talk about tankage, the basterd'd be permabuffed, and permabuffed twice as much as any player buff =D
and has anyone tried movinggrouped pets into POB ships? will it let you preserve your pet buffs while traveling that way? Since they dont seem to be autostoring as much anymore this might give more viability to CHs who want to take their buffy pets to planets not frequented by docs

pets used to have secondary stats... in fact, they still do, but they aren't displayed.
old stats?
H/400/400 A/400/400 M/400/400
if I remember correctly.
currently, the stats are:
H/40/40 A/40/40 M/40/40
again, these stats used to display on clones... and show how to make a REAL tank of a pet... get a doc to buff the regen secondaries. two buffs is cheaper than a full set, and all you have to do is keep the pet from storing between the doc and the target (easier said than done).
