Just when I thought Chefs we're getting a bit better, another comes along to torment me!
I get a tell from a chef who has asked me for schematics before, to which I have refused.
He wants to know if I will make him a few schematics for INNs for 200k each.
I tell him 200k isn't a bad deal, but I have to decline.
He then asks if we can make a deal, to which I respond 'If it involves me making a schematic no, else yes'.
The deal is he gives me 200k of a pretty decent resource to make schematics and he alwayscomes tome for schems in the future. (prob 2m worth tbh)
I say no thanks, I already have about 1.5m of it.
I then say If you want INNs, I have 2 runs of +117 on my vendor for 1.6m each.
He replys Rotfl, lol etc. Make them normal price he says.
600k.
I'm just dumbfounded. Anyway. Enough of my rant. I know people say that free market economics will balance everything out, but with the past and presentsituation, as well asfuture predictions, does this look likely?

Come on dude, keep to protocol:
Chef: "Ha! Rip off!Do em normal price!"
BE: "How much?"
Chef: "600k"
BE: /addignore Chef

Under normal circumstances, I'd have to agree.
Thing is, this Chef must have bought some thing from me in the past, as he is/was on my friends list.
My bet is probably an auction or something.

Heh when I quit I had 8 chefs on my friends list and i remember someone actually asking if they could buy my chef list off me. in the end i declined but i sent an email to chefs telling them that i had found a replacement. wouldn't have been fair for them to receive unsolicited emails.

Hehe, well at least you got a better offer than my last one. My last chef offer:
10 schematics (/roll eyes) for 60k of meat. I think over the course of my BE career the number of requests for schematics have outnumbered the number of requests for additives by about 10 to 1.

hehe. When Septus quit, BE, his alt, Karli gave me a list of all Chefs who had bought tissues off them in the the last 6 months... for free.
(I did buy 14m creds of meat of them though...)
I sent out a mail to them all saying I would be willing to take on Septus' workload, and if they didn't want me to contact them again, then mail back telling me so.
Didn't get any mails back, but then didn't get very many people buying tissues either. I suspect at that point, a lot of Chefs who relied onlarge BEs, like Karli/Septusdecided to take the plunge themselves as alts.

My solicitor has advised me to cease my part of this discussion. Good day all.
