Thread: Non-BE Non-CH CL10 mount question

I was recently told that Falumpasets and Brackasets can only be made CL 20+. The FAQ here however states that both have a minimum CL of 5.

Is it possible to make CL 10 Brackasets or Falumpasets that are worth using? Would they require a CL10 or less "plodding falumpaset" or "lowland brackaset" to make? Could one be made comparable to the Non-CH Banthas, Cu-Pas, and Kaadus I more commonly see for sale?

Damage and special attacks are pretty irrelevant, but I would like a mount with some kinetic and/or energy resist and decent HAM. Thanks for any help provided.

The DNA used does not effect the final skin of the animal, we can put anyDNA sample into any skin. So if the FAQ says that we can make low level brackasets then we can.

All the mount forms can be made CL10 for non-creature handlers. The worthfulness is up to the owner. I have sold a galaxy full of mounts with no complaints.

I should add all the mounts can be crafted with similar stats if the bio-engineer used the same recipe for all of them. As a previous poster said, the skin does not dictate the stats of the animal.
