Thread: Scratching my head about making creatures...
I'm pretty new to BE... had a lot of fun sampling. Brought back fond memories of taming babies from when I was a CH for some reason. ![]()
My question is about what the various stats do. I mean, some of them are obvious. Also, what governs the final outcome? Let me clarify.
I've been keeping track of the clones I make. My crafting result looks like this typically, give or take a few percentage points here and there.
Aggression Profile - 5-10%
Mental Profile - 20% or less.
Physique Profile - 20%
Prowess Profile - 20-40%
Psychological Profile - 40-50%.
I don't recall seeing anything above any of the percents I've mentioned here. Maybe the occasional 51% in psychological.
It doesn't seem to matter what kind of DNA I use. I mean, the general "spread" will stay the same... slightly lower for lower quality DNA, but I used 5 HQ giant angler DNA's and had the same turnout as using 5 AQ DNA samples.
Is clone making 100% DNA quality and then the meat and flora just filler? Or is there a hidden quality requirement thats forming a cieling I can't see?
Also, why do I fail on experimentation 80% of the time? Also, why does successful experimentation lower the percentage? I don't experiment very often (trying to get master before I make pets... plus I don't have anything above novice clones anyway), but when I do I try to put it in one of the lower ones. On the off chance I succeed, it lowers the percentage. That doesnt seem right. Failure either does nothing or raises the stat.
