Thread: question for BEs
Its an inorganic with no real use right now other then putting out as a display.

Nah, i just dont like constantly grinding out, Bio Effect Controllers, I would at least like to make something useful.
Not trying to sound like I'm shooting you down, but just know BE is not easy and you do need to be much more along in it then just novice, to make the high end pets and also, the pet stim packs, pet vitality packs and the tissues. *People always focus on the pets, why is that? BE enhanced clothing is HUGE*
Your not shooting me down, i figured there was something like this,I just didnt know what it was.
If you don't like grinding out bio effect controllers, then you will have a tough time with Bio Engineer. The fastest way to get to master is grinding useless micronutrient supplements. Of course, that is mostly for the holowhores. I made my way to master by making stuff I enjoyed making, rather than grinding, but yes there was a skill box I really wanted in a hurry, so I grinded using the micronutrient supplements. If you really want to experience the bio engineering profession, don't grind. Make pets as you go, learn how things work. Making food additives and clothing additions will make you some bank on the way, but I have found there are many tailors and chefs that won't buy these unless you make the super uber tissues with the best materials. Good luck!

That said, perhaps novices can make better non-ch pets than masters can. I've seen a lot of recipes in this forum where novices do combines that masters simply cannot do. I think a clever novice could probably do really really well making non-CH pets if he/she put their mind to it.
Very excellent point. A low level BE can better hit the target of low level pets without overshooting it. Masters need to nerf things just to keep from being so good when making non-ch pets. The masters are stuck with always getting high level samples which may, on their own, overshoot the cl 10 requirement.
But, a novice who advances only DNA sampling to IV can sample some nice creatures indeed and have High Quality samples, they can't reach the samples they get at Master. Plus, the Assembly mod you get from Engineering would not be there until you persue that branch.
