on every map i have ever seen Lok is located in the Karthakk system betweentheCadavine Sectorand Arkanis Sector near the correllian run just as you enter the outer rim, if you go a little bit further out you wil be able to get to genosis.

while on the other hand Talus is located in the corellian system in the in the core worlds

well its 4:05am here at work i guess i still have nother 4 hours to waste

Kamino is 'beyond the outter rim' which means it's further than Tatooine. Dex confirmed this when ObiWan went to get information on Jango Fetts dart. Lok isnear to Naboo as we all know and Correlia is further inside the system. The key thing to remember is that Tatooine is on the outter rim while Naboo is closer to the centre of the galaxy. While on Geonosis Obi Wan could scan both Naboo and Tatooine by 'widening the range' of the scan. This suggests a scanning method which is more like line of sight rather than radar which scans in all direction. This would suggest that he was further out than Tatooine and Naboo and only detected then my broading the scanning arc while it was focussed on Naboo as a start. So if you started at Naboo you'd first come to Lok in terms of distance followed shortly by Naboo and finally Geonosis, the distance from Lok to Naboo and Tatooine to Naboo however is something to dispute, surfice it to say though that Geonosis is not closer than Lok since it was a seperatist planet along the outter rim territories.

Geonosis is very close to tatooine, and Naboo isn't too near the center of the galaxy. Im gonna guess that it will be placed on Lok (just to give a reason to go there).
