Last I heard the Developers hadnt told us what was going to be valid or not. It might be a little early to celebrate, but I would go ahead and make use of it while you can. It's HAM is impressive.

I recently made one with 5k health and 16% kinetic resists, as far as I know it is still valid.

I agree that we shouldn't speculate on what "valid" is. Just keep crafting away

BTW, nice job on that pet... might actually be helpful in a PvP battle if you are going against a CM with mind poison.

You think that's an accident?

My partner in crime just accidentally made a 10k 5k 4k 48% kinetic with over 100 damage (cant remember the exact stats) wasnt at all what he was trying to do.

I think this is what the devs mean when they say there are still bugs in the system

Yeah lets keep selling our customers clones which are on borrowed time, while we're at it lets start labelling petstimAs as Bs and insist it's a typing error. Infact lets tell our customers that the Active Tranquilizers let them tame higher than CL70.

thats was a mistake i put my higher quality dna on the mind, but rest of the ham is not an accident not 1 failure

If you are running around with Stim-Ds, this isn't so upside-down. Just keep spamming him with Stimpacks and he'll stand there all day.

As posted in the lvl10 Thread:

Messing with Herek Harvester (1&2) as well as Deranged Wrix (3,4 & 5) going into 2nd / 3rd Gen I made this Monstrosity:

CL10

10245Health / 5453 Action / 4196 Mind

Kinetic Resist 60%, Blast 49%, Heat 5%, Vulnerability to all else.

Attack Speed 2.12, To Hit 0.2, Damage 160-170

Special 1: Stunning Strike, Special 2: -, Ranged: No

I didn't call the pet btw. I consider ita Trophy.

I did not say that we should advertise falsely; thats just twisting my words and you know it. All i meant was that (just for the pets that are ungod-like, i.e. not 10k ham with 60 kinetic) that we shouldnt pull our hair out second guessing what is intended or not. We do ourselves no good if we stop trying to make nonCH pets that push the boundary. Unfortunately, we cant tell where the boundary is (thanks Devs ).

I would love to be able to accomplish those god-like nonCH pets, but as an exMCH and a novice again, the 10k health pets with crazy resists certainly cheat those of us who spend skill points to use something like that at a higher lvl.

But i do not think that 5k with 16 kinetic cheats anyone.

I will refund and remake any nonCH pet i make that becomes invalid with no extra charge. I am not in the business of cheating people.

"Yeah lets keep selling our customers clones which are on borrowed time"

Ah, Tal-N, you just couldn't stay away from this, could you?

As long as our customers KNOW they are on borrowed time, there is no issue. I get tired of seeing this same nonsense over and over.According to your logic, an armorsmith shouldn't sell armor because it decays and is on borrowed time. Same for weaponsmiths. Hell, doctor buffs only last 3 hours - they are REALLY ripping people off! Hey! You didn't tell me these buffs weren't permanent!

Just so there is no misinterpreting my point: a Bio-engineer who sells a customer a 10k/5k/5k HAM pet with 60% kinetic and tells them that it will last forever or doesn't warn themis just as unethical as an Weaponsmith who sells weapons and claims they don't decay with use. However, if customers understand that these will be nerfed and are willing to buy them for the temporary fun they provide, there is no issue. In fact, as I have said many times, I believe the spirit of BE is to constantly push the limits. To not have fun with our profession while they untangle it would be akin to not playing.

Cheers-
