OK guys, you all know me by now, and know that I'm new.
I should have done some of this earlier (reading), but for the most part I figure things out. But now, I'm darn near lost.
CL - creature level
BE - bio-engineer
DNA - really long word 
CH - creature handler
VHQ - very high quality?
HAM - health action mind
AR - armor?
a.av - above avg
av - avg
can't find anymore right now...but when I do... 
And another thing. When you all say 2nd, 3rd, etc generation...what is that. is that when you create a BE pet you then sample from that?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Yes. Its the creation of a pet with DNA from a previous pet (sometimes mixed with wild DNA)

DNA - Deoxyribonucleic acid
VHQ - Very high quality
AR - Armour rating
and yes you use generational sampling to get desired resistances / vulnerabilities / skills etc to come through and usable in a new pet.
