Finally made MBE last night, its taken a while as I havent done much grinding, just levelling as I made and sold stuff. anyhow, I think I have a grasp on resists and specials, but im having trouble getting light armour to stick.

I used a sample with 670/590 in the physique slot and after the combine, the stats dropped to 640/390 or similar, so even with Exp I couldnt hit the magic 500/500 mark. The combine was a "great success" I ended up with a 11k HAM 35% kinetic Razor cat, so its still ok, but I just cant figure how to get the armour to work.

Is is as simple as I just need a sample with 800/800 to allow for the dropoff on combine? or did the quality of tool (10.13) and crafting station cause the problem?

if it helps, I used Nocious Kamurith DNA for the physique slot, and Surefoot Brack DNA for all the others to get the kinetic up.

TIA

To get armor to stick, simply experiment the fortitude up to 500.

In the other threads they have formulas for Fortitude, though in my experience the final product always has 100ish less fortitude than the formula says.

Every time I have made Armor stick I had experimented the Physique 56%. Usually 55 didn't do it, but as soon as it went over, armor showed up.

I got armor to stick for the first time last night. Made a CL31 blurrg with light armor and 60% resists to almost everything. I used mantigrue reaper and arachne warrior DNA.

I placed the armor and high resist DNA in the first two slots, high resist in the second two, and armor in the last slot. The template had no armor with high resists.I experimented on the physique. I didn't look at the percentage. I just kept my eye on fortitude. Once fortitude went over 500 the template showed light armor.
