I just reached master BE today. Its an alt char, but I play it %97 of the time, my main Char is a Master CH, so I think BE shares some of the things I love so much with CH. But I must admit, im feeling a bit overwhelmed at this. Ive read the faqs, but even though they are from last month, it seems quite outdated and incorrect. Anyone able to offer a bit of help on the DNA templates? As in which slot affects which? Its my understanding that the first 3 affect health, action, and mind, but the last 2 I couldnt figure out. Also which slots affect special attacks. I also heard its possible to experiment down CL level. Any experimentation help on the template, as well as creatures would be very greatly appreciated. Im on the Eclipse server btw, name is Nanik, if any Masters out there feel like starting up a conversation with a bit of a newbie master, if there is such a thing

Do a search on recent posts by Tal-N. Then note the people that comment intelligently on his experiments and do a search on them. Shouldn't take more than an hour to get a good grip on it.

Use posts by Tal-N, Summorex (sorry sumo if i spealt that wrong) and of course our illustrious leader (but most of his posts are sticky'd at the top anyways, read the entire academy posting)

Tal-N is one of the first major contributors to this board, same as Sumo. They have both been around as long as i can remember from day dot when we all started grinding towards the bugged master BE title.

Personally, im more of a lurker, i hate the flaming that goes on when people disagree, but will try and provide places too look for newbies.

Darlin', I've been a Master Bio-Engineer for a while now. I'm still feeling overwhelmed by this new Cloning system, which is enough to make me want to drop the class. (Hmm...was that a covert intention? ) I'm not good with note-taking or number crunching. I just like to make things that others find useful. Unfortunately, my playstyle doesn't seem to meet with the approval of either the developer(s) or most other bio-engineers.

Here's hoping someone can either figure out this chaos, or Keldarin relents and gives us a few basic clues on how this **edit** is supposed to work.
