I just read that 7 page Thread, and it seems almost everyone agrees that Psychology will affect CL (at least Arthur firmly believes that it will) But in all my testing, it has not.
I sampled a Swirl Prong 10 times, used 5 of the DNA for one gnort, used 5 for another, on both i got 5% physical, 8% mental and 6% psychological, the aggression lay at around 15% for each, and the psychological around 50%, but for one of them I experimented it up to 65%. Upon making the Gnorts, i saw that both had a CL of 13, with almost identical HAM/resists/dmg.
This needs to be tested more before we can say what it does.

I agree with you. I think its a factor of people using points on psy instead of increasing other stats, thus keeping the CL low. otherwise, they get a better health stat or something and increase the CL.

I just noticed that I have been testing with high-CL animals and products, all 30+, whereas Arthur seems to use below 20, usually crappy ones that are in the single digits, like Gnorts, so it may not be dependability that determines it, but the CL of one DNA slot lowers the total CL, meaning the CL is not based entirely on stats of the product.

I agree with that, I think I used some shear mite (the lowest ones) DNA in my CL10 kaadu
