Ok the patch to fix us was comming and after extensive playing on the test server i had learned that prepatch DNA was iffy, but that there was still going to be the cap on dna sampling critters, which SEVERELY hampered making level 70 creatures of any variety. But i knew of a single source on my server that had in his possession a few samples of old Kimogilla DNA, 2 he said.

I bought them from this person (whos house btw was the most extrodinarily decorated i have ever seen) who was using the samples as decorations underneath his kimo statue. He had more than 2, he had 4, i was able to talk him into 3 of the samples. I paid him what i considred a fair price, the items were "priceless" but i figured already that the risk involved in using them would be extreme (understatement).

TEST 1: Having studied the patch extensivly on the boards and test server i grabbed some dna from dathomirs rancors and using my old mediocor tools i rushed back to my lab and proceeded to CRIT FAIL on my first kimo dna sample (goodbye). This was not a good start. I made a deal with a couple of players who i made a level 68 narglatch from hell (seen the pic?)and another high level critter for a large sum of credits and a extremely high quality medical crafting station and two high end tools. Igok and his buddyare my heros when it comes to crafting.

TEST 2: Using mynew toolsonthe thirdday of the patch i aquired tons of dna samples, from Rancors, mutants, mereks, arachnae, you name it i sampled it and headed back to my lab to test it out. I used in this order> Kimo,Rancor,Young Rancor, Mutant Rancor, Rancor. All VHQ samples except the kimo (all kimo were AA). A few minutes later i was the proud owner of a level 80 kimogilla.....15k Health, rest of the stats were quite impressive, AR 1 (not medium), and very respeactable attack, forgot the specials but had 2. Just about cried when i realized id never be able to tame him. Thought to myself "IMPRESSIVE STUFF". On a sadder note like a fool i forgot that level 75 was the cap for dna sampling and proceeded to sample the monster out of existance.

Two down, nothing to show for it, 1 sample left.

TEST 3: While purusing the forums the next day i heard a rumor that Prepatch DNA was no longer usable, i panicked. In case it hadent been true i tried anyways to create one last monster with my last DNA sample. I wanted to make a 1000 dammage biting vorpal bunny.I used the kimo DNA in the aggressive slot, i put a VHQ Deaths Head Merek DNA in the psych slot and rancordna in the first three slots. It went through. I experimented Aggressive up to max, Psych up to max and had 6 points left over, fearing another level 80 statue incident i let the HAM slots stay empty. I put the rusulting template into a pretty white squal named "vorpal bunny". The end result was a AR1, resist in the 40's and50's bunny with 11k Ham average, Level 56(i should have used all experiments), the only special that stuck was strong disease, bite dammage was for a unimpressive 570-580. I countedthis as a failure and gave the bunny to my guild commander who i didnt bother to tell it was made from part Kimogilla.

The creature sits in his datapad as we speak, when its full grown ill ask him if the stats have changed at all but i doubt it. There is still one prepatch Kimo sample left on radiant that i know of, and have informed the owner of my findings, hell probably keep it as it looks good where it is now. For those of you wanting to experiment with such rare dna i would be happy to discuss this matter further if you drop by radiant sometime, always remember that there probably wont be any more kimo dna after what we have is used up, so use it wisely, i tried to and still messed it up.
