I was thinking of sampling nuna's until my eyes bleed, and make a multigenerational template from that. My goal is <100 HAM and slap it into a rancor skin. I think I could do it considering the lack of vulnerabilities (one in stun) of nunas. This should be fun. I do know, however, it'll have that damned minimum level.

lowest ham I've had is 85, though it could probably go lower with multigen heh

Forget it. Here's a jourlnal of my experience trying this out...
sample from a perlek = 5 samples.
create a template, CRIT!
go back out, get 15 samples.
make 3 templates.
make 3 durnis
sample them all, get 17 DNA samples.
make a template, CRIT!
**sucker punch monitor**
make 2 more templates.
make 2 durnis
samples them.
got 12 samples.
make a template, make a durni, CRIT!
**sucker punch me**
make another template, make a durni.
sample it, 5 samples
make a template, make a durni. CRIT!
**pokes needle in devdall**
Sorry devs, trying to have fun. You guys f*cking killed my fun. Thanks.
I even had one of them down to lvl 4.

I just can't believe I wasted 2 hours of my time. It is a dismal feeling to know what a damned waste a good two hour block of time turned out to be. I am going to take a break for a few days. This game pisses me off.

I have to say that on multi-generational work we do seem to get crits higher than THs "working as intended" 5%.
5% is 1 in 20... I hate generational work because it drops to more like 1 in 5!

whats the quality on your crafting tool? I started on TC and just grabbed whatever I could get in tools and they were like -14 and I critted all the time, but with my +14.5 I dont crit so much, though the crafting station rating doesnt seem to affect my crits at all, I've noticed no difference between my droid (0 rating) and the crafting stations at NU (+4x)

I'll check my tools when the servers come back up, Nancy, but - to the best of my knowledge - they are +14.x tools that my wife's artisan created.

When we were doing that "highest damage on a CL 10" challenge I think I got the HAM template stats down into the single digits and that translated to about 100 HAM, but of course that was starting with CL 50+ level dna, so I should get a bonus point for that, lol.
Seriously though 'Poker, crits come in bunches. After you'd have a couple in short succession *stop*. Don't torture yourself any more. It's the only way to remain sane.
