Base: Level x 1000
Armor: +level x ArmorRating x 100
Ranged: +level x 100
Special Attacks: +level x 100 for each special
Bleed/Disease/Poison: +level x 100 for each
Resists: +(Resist-30) x 50 for each resist if over 30
VulnResists: -100 for each vulnerable resist

So
L46
Light Armor
Ranged Attack
2 Special Attacks
1 of the specials is Poison
50 total resist values over 30 (ie 55KR, 55BR, 0 for rest)
=71500cr

L7
Light Armor
2 Specials
50 Resist total
2 Vulnerabilities
=11400cr

*Note The Resist total is after you subtract 30 from resists over 30. So a 50 total could be 55KR and 55BR and zero for the rest, or any other of many combinations.

What do you guys think? I don't think they are too high. I put it in a spreadsheet and it easily calculates.

what i've seen by many BEs is much easier pricing. 1k per lvl and double that if it has armor

ya im a master ch and i think that is a start, how bout 1k per level2k per levelwith armour 1k per special 2k with a ranged and turn the resists into hundreds so 40% kinetic = 400

so;

So

So
L46 = 46000
Light Armor x 2 = 92000
Ranged Attack = 2000
2 Special Attacks = 2000
1 of the specials is Poison
50 total resist values over 30 (ie 55KR, 55BR, 0 for rest) = 1100
total = 97100

400 credits for a 40% resist? I think it'd be up quite a bit, since resists are a pretty big deal. What if you get a CL 10 creature with 60 resist? I surely will want to see more than 10k out of that, due to the "rarity" or whatever. I recently sold a cupa CL 23 with 9k HAM, 260 dmg, and strong poison, light armor, and 50 resist for 50k, and I thought that was a great deal, for the buyer atleast, anda MCH said I was WAY overcharging.... That he bought a Kimo for 20k... 20k??!?! High CL? Whatever, either the BE that sold it is way undercutting, or he's full of it, or used crap materials. People don't realize our troubles getting samples, unless we are rangers also, but I for one am not, so I get constantly detected/aggro'd. That's another smaller factor in my pricing. For a great pet with great resources, you're gonna see the trouble I had, in the pricing. Probably another 5-10k depending on the pet. What do you think about that price?

Pricing pets by the cl level anymore is insane considering that a lower cl is generally a GOOD thing now! Why would you base the price on the cl of something when you can jack up the stats AND lower the cl so you can have more pets out? Anyone pricing this way is a moron.

You need to throw CL out of the equation. I have a gurrcat with 45 to kinetic but only a 2k ham and is lvl 18.

But I have a durni with 40 kinetic 6k ham lvl 10

Soif by your pricing guide I follow, I woul have to charge less for the lvl 10 when in fact it is probably better over all IMO.

Add all the ham bars and divide by 2, thats the BASE price for your pet. From there add in the resist, armor, specials and so on like you normally would.

it is rediculous for us to price by CL.

they should be two sets of prices one that is for cl 10 and below and 11 and above. Since 10 and below non-ch can use should cost alot more. I seen people make a 6kHAm cl 10 pet and some what better and people would pay alot for this becuae it usable by everyone. But once you start geting here only a small amount of people can use so the prices go down then back up again the better the pet.

The CL level is harder too price from now because of the recent changes. I usually charged by that as well, 1k per level.

But now I have started charging the base price, based the HAM level. Average out the HAM level (10k just as an example)* 4.5 (or 5) = 45k (50K), then add in the special attacks, resistances and so on.

This seems to work pretty good for me, the change in the pricing is not that drastic, and most people should/ do expect this, when they mail/talk to me about buying a "fighting" pet. This also works out good when someone walks in and is looking for a mount, which at this point, since the vehicle release, has pretty much come to a halt .

I like the idea of basing the base price off of HAM. I am going to change my formula above to have the base price based off (TotalHAM / 3 * 4), and leave the rest as it is. This way if you end up with a Lvl 7 pet like above with 6kHAM (18ktotal) it would cost around 28400cr, while if it only had 2kHAM it would only be around 12400cr. Makes more sense to me.

I have already sold quite a few creatures using the above (first)formula, I will change it and see how it goes.

Everybody wants level 35s with armor, these are worth more than a level 40
