Thread: newby BE question
I'm sure this has been posted before(search isnt working for me) but i decided to go master BE once i master scout (then untrain most of it). I have a few questions about cloning
my understanding is that the cl of the pet is determined by the 5 samples of dna you use to make it
what the hell does meat/food quality play in the pet final cl?
skins? these are the schematics we get as we level ? or can/do we sample and make our own
armor is dependant on the str/fort being over 1050-1100 combined?
if you wanted to make a cl 10 pet that was pretty good can you do it with say mutant rancor dna or is it levelled?
ive heard mention of third generation dna, i am assuming that you make a good pet, sample it, make another pet etc etc to weed out the bad dna and get the good stuff? how many times can you do this?
as a ch can i sample my pets(they die they die, oh well)?
which pets are best for which stats? ive read that kimo=high mental dna, grauls=high aggression dna
whats considered good dna, number wise.? that being said what do you look for in dna, whats the most important
im a macro dummy, can u set up a macro to use 5 tools at once? if so umm can anyone post it, i figure if i grind micro nutrients i can master this fast and start having fun
my main question is how do you determine the final cl of the pet, as a master ch i have certain combinations i wanna try out and the final cl matters to me, and i'm being bugged to tame cl 10 pets and figure if i can make them its prob easier to me and better for them.
ya its alot of questions, thanks in advance.
but I do know about nooB sampling -> go to endor and sample anything you see you'll get very cool samples.
I started with the micronutricient thing, then I stopped, that's too long and just not fun at all, when you start to make cool creatures (don't have to be CL5000 to be cool, I and anybody else, enjoy CL16 pets as well, and they are easy to sell), so my advice: forget about the micronutricient, you can have fun since novice BE, no worry about that.
you cannot sample your own tamed pets.
I have better results when I use high quality meat and stuff, didn't proved it now, but as I use cheesy ressources when I fail the dna template, I can say that bad Quality ressources are not good. keep your cheezy crappy pets you could make and sell them in the bazaar, you'll get quick cool cash to buy yourself trips to planets and insurance/cloning.
my advice to have a lot of fun:
get schematics 1, raise dna tree (independant from the other trees), and raise the engineering techniques tree, it'll allow you more experimentation points. then raise both cloning and tissues trees to get to master.
The board is already over flowing, so I didn’t want to make a new but similar thread. Here’s my silly newbie question: I can experiment on the DNA profile if I use a Food & Chemical tool near a Food & Chemical station, but when I combine it into the critter, I cannot experiment on it at all. All I get are “prototype” and “schematic” options, standing in the same exact spot as I just experimented on the profile. Can you not experiment on the critters themselves, only the generic profiles?
Since the last patch, the only experimenting is done on the generic template. You can no longer experiment while making the creature, just choose skin and color.
