You could try the sampling macro, that is in one of the sticky threads i think, if you really want to grind. I just got to sampling 3 and haven't used it yet. I started by sampling the low lvl junk around cities. Then I moved on to the exotic planets, you get a lot more xp per creature and it is more useful generally. You should also get a crate of muon gold or see an entertainer for buffs, sampling rips through your mind points...

actually dna sampling is (in my point of view) the most exciting thing in the BE profession (the other things are cool too tho), so just go to a planet like endor (cool place for low level BEs) and sample anything you can, I'm BE 1121 and I made very cool pets with dna collected there. and if I fail, I put'em on the bazaar for cheap prices and I get a lot of cash very quickly, so I can buy me some trips to other planets to keep sampling stuff. (I can also buy me cloning and insurance !)

Some creatures seem to give up the DNA easier than others. Try to find ones that put out and give good exp as well. At DNA Sampling 1 Greater Desert Womp Rats on Tatooine were quick easy exp. At DNA 2 (where I am now) the Brackaset Males and Bolma Males on Dathomir give great exp without many failures. There DNA is great for making creatures as well.Plus there are lots of these all over Dathomir, so they aren't hard to find. They also don't aggro on you very much.

Okay this is what I have done since I got DNA Sampling II. Get a ticket to Yavin IV.....the Labor Outpost I think (The one to the north). Head out north to the beach area. You will find plenty of high level beasties, don't be scared.......its not so bad since most of them dont deathblow. Make sure you have your mask scent armed at all times. Kliknik Queens give close to 600 XP p[er sample, Kliknik workers and guards give somewhere around 400. You will get incapped probably 1 out of 5 samples, but hey that is the price you pay for being a BE.

Go to Dantooine, get off at the Imp Outpost.

Select a mission nearby for any kind of Picket

Pickets are non-aggro, and do not DB.

You will get about 360+ xp for each sample, and you can make good money on the missions.

find a smuggler friend to make you a schematic for muon gold.

sample newbie critters non stop. to me this was the best xp per time way to get to level IV. I would get close to 3k xp per 12 minutes and dont have to worry about dieing or getting incap.
