Thread: Recipe for a level 69 creature
Nice work. Based on your results and those 2 creatures beign CL 75 and CL 46 I think i figured out the formula used to determine final CL when using all wild DNA.
Slot 1 - CL 75 * 0.3 = 22.5
Slot 2 - CL 75 * 0.3 = 22.5
Slot 3 - CL 46 * 0.1 = 4.6
Slot 4 - CL 46 * 0.1 = 4.6
Slot 5 - CL 75* 0.2 = 15
Total = 69.2 Since they round everythign to the nearest whole number that give you a CL 69 creature.
By that theary if you used CL 50 in slot 3 and 4 then you should end up with 69.6 round to CL 70.
So using Mantigrue Reaper in Slot 4 to get the ranged attack added in as well as compensate for the vulnerabilities and keeping the other DNA you used in this combo shouldget you another CL 69 or possibly CL 70 even.
Nice formula too!!!
Can't wait to try it when I get home, if it does match up (even with lower lvls) I'll post a support and a bump
Getting closer!!!!
Nice cat. You were right on about using the Rancor youth DNA
Here's my recipe:
Slot 1 Mutant Rancor
Slot 2 Mutant Rancor
Slot 3 Rancor Youth
Slot 4 Rancor Youth
Slot 5 Rancor Youth
The Blast, Acid and Stun started at 45% until the armor was light then it dropped down to 0. I was able to sample it back up with 2 experiment points but then it was maxed out.

Nice Yewrev what level did you end up with? I made one with the Rancor Youth in place of the Gnarled Rancor and got a level 65.
I would suggest everyone to not use the Gnarled Rancor and use Rancor Youth instead for the huge resist bonus, thus your final creature will be vulnerable to nothing.
Then use:
#1 Mutant Rancor
#2 Mutant Rancor
#3 Rancor Youth
#4 Rancor Youth
#5 Mutant Rancor
The template was nearly maxed on experiment, minus Physique, which was 2-3 small boxes off.
End creature had 12.1-12.8k ham, AR1, 50 KR, 570 dmg etc. Good result all around.

the formula is interesting but does not work all the time.. I did some tests and high level skins will influence on the CL too. It has to fit somewhere in the formula but this could be a good start
I noticed this too.
Slot 1: Mutant Rancor
Slot 2: Mutant Rancor
Slot 3: Rancor Youth
Slot 4: Rancor Youth
Slot 5: Mutant Rancor
using VHQ's only into Kimo skin = CL68, putting into Carrion Spat skin = CL61
So, either minimal variance on the samples affected the overall CL, or the skin did., though I have to admit I'll take the spat over the kimo any day

Where did you get the 0.3, 0.2, and 0.1?!
I was afraid of going over the 70 limit. But just made it.
The only real drawback is the Blast, Acid, Stun. ![]()
I had some VHQ Rancor Youth DNA (which i should have used for the resist boost) which also has the Knockdown special... But my Gnarled Rancor DNA had much great numbers and the HAM is very impressive (please check the link below).
Here's what went where:
Phyisque: VHQ Mutant Rancor
Prowess: VHQ Mutant Rancor
Mental: VHQ Gnarled Rancor
Psycological: HQGnarled Rancor
Aggression: VHQ Mutant Rancor
