Please post your "Looking for a BE on such and such server" Threads on your server specific boards. Or use the In game Search Method to find a BE. You will get a better responce from using these methods.

I understand; that it can be a bit frustrating. However, pleaserepsect that this board is for BE discussion about our profession.

Apologies, but search yielded no one, and thelast time I used server specific-boards, it took longer than I'd have expected to get an answer.

Rest assured, the one thread I've posted here will be my last thread in this section.

Ryubushi I don't think this thread was intended to bash you or anyone else that posts asking for BE's on their server. What I got from the original posting is you have better luck looking in your galaxy forum. You have the attention of all the people in your galaxy that uses the forum. Not only will bio-engineers see your request but other players that know of a bio-engineer will see your request. You will have much more luck in your galaxy forum than you will here.

I agree the in-game search isn't as productive as one would hope. If a BE is not wearing his tag you will not find them doing a search.

I wasn't directing this at anyone in particluar. It is simply asking the Non BEs to please keep these types of posts out of this forum. I wasn't not saying not to post questions or what not you had about the profession. Just, please keep Server Specific stuff, i.e 'Looking for a BE to make me a pet" on the appropiate baords.

Although the other methods aren't always quick. From my experiences on this board and from the WS boards, which I have had a MWS since the 3rd week; these types of post in the Proffession Discusion boards, rarely produce results. Typically, they're ignored.

The in Game search system is a bit weird. My suggestion to you would go to the High Level Planets and conduct searches there. Atleast on my server, I do see a lot of the Master BEs with their tags out. Wether they are searchable or not, I do not know. But, with the new system, a lot of us are spending a good deal of our time out collecting high end samples. Which means, we are only searchable from those planets.

The bit about finding BE's on the high end planets reminds me of something else nonBE's should know. When you find your BE, especially on a high level planet, send an Email instead of a /tell. If we're out sampling high level creatures, the last thing we want is to be disturbed while waiting to see if the creature wants us for lunch. It's hard to carry on a rational business discussion while running for your life. Also, an Email will help them keep track if you want to order a creature.
