Thread: How to create a nice pet without a Mutant Rancor?

So far I am not able to create creature with a CL above 62 without the help of some Mutant Rancor Sample. Does anyone created a pet with a higher CL than 65 without a MR sample?

Bull Rancor, Arachne Queen and Reclusive Cavern Spider Queen are all above CL62.

check swgcreatures.com
it's a great resource and you can probably check for stuff below cl75 but above cl60 and you'll get a few good hits. Remember that experimenting can also bring up cl if you put your pts in the right places

Well yeah you just need to do the opposite of what you would do to lower the CL: so have equal HAMs, high aggression, no vulnerabilities and use high level sample DNA. Really for high level pets you should be using all your experimentation points.

But not too many points...if you're not careful (like me) you'll end up with a nice pet that's the magical cl 76 
joy. :/

I also was able to create a pet above 70 I think it was 74 but not without the help of 2 Mutant Rancor samples.

Well it's really a game of mix and match. Use the swgcreatures DNA lab to find a combination that you like and then try it out. This whole profession is about going out and finding new things out for yourself. Rest assured though that just about any combination of those animals will yield a high level pet so just try stuff out.

I have made ( a long time ago )
a 66 cl critter with only Burrower Queens
I retired 1 year from BEBTW
