Well, there certainly is a theoretical cap, obviously, and that would be if you use materials that have 1000 in each of the stats that matter. But I'm not sure how useful trying to discover what that cap is, is. From my experience I think the best I've made are around:

B's: 850

C's: 1150

D's: 1450

something like that. A 950 heal Stim C is ok, not bad. I've made worse, lol. Actually though, when I generally start getting stims that have > 1k heals I generally put some of my experimental points into charges rather than fussing with 50 extra points of power or so. But in any case I think most customers are just real happy to be able to get respectible stim C's in crates.

ty arthur

at least now i have something to go on hehe. i thought my stims werepretty good for my first attempt in making stims but looks i have to try a little harder

so you think i should go more on the charges than power?or only if the power is less than 1k?

still a bit confused but you helped me alot actually

I dunno, no hard and fast rules there. In some ways you may be better putting points into power:

30 charges x 1000 healing = 30,000

29 charges x 1050 healing = 30,450

But a lot of time you don't use the "full power" of a charge and wish you had more charges, so I dunno. Either way is good. I think 30/1000 are kind of psychological levels though when it comes to judging a stim C, so I usually try to reach that at least.

Best I've ever accomplished on a Pet-Stim D is 1667. And I'm quite certain I can make higher, now that I have 3 Enhanced Liquid Suspension modules with a power of 250....

Just have to find some killer Dantooine Fiberplast and I'll be all set.

My Bs atm are 830 power 30 charges (usingABEC and ALS with a regCRDMwith the schematics made by a master doc)and my Cs are 1116 power 30 charges (using all advanced with schematics made by a master doc)... I made a few Ds but was disappointed to see them only come out at 1130 power or so with 35 charges (same as the Cs with all advanced).

I could have hit the 900s with my Bs if I would have used a ACRDM...

950 for a stim c isnt bad but....

If you cant get good insect meat stick with the Stim Bs.. Not hard to make those good when using advanced sub componets that are put together by a master doc (dont worry about the ACRDM for the Bs)... In fact my stim Bs give me the highest profit margine since I charge a flat power x charge /10 rate.

Yea, I actually make a really wide spectrum of stims. From stim B's with like 18/700 (using only my own crappy subcomponents) to 30/800 stim B's using master doc subcomponents to C's and D's which of course I only make using the top notch components. It's funny to see how things sell. The crappiest stims that I sell are probably the best sellers. A lot of people just like to be able to get a big crate of stims for cheap (particularly if they have low-HAM pets), and like you said when you do all your own, the profit margin is a lot bigger on those. Still though, I like to be able to offer "something to everyone".

I agree with you 110% that the "lower end" stims in volume sell the quickest. Lot of people just see 125k for a crate of830p/30c stims Bs and only 63k for the 700p/18c stim Bs???? D@mn better go for the 700s

I think providing a wide range of options to your customers is ideal and is why I often refer my customers to you when they dont find what they need from me (I have always been impressed with your shop and have visited it many times myself while you were on Corellia and I was still an upcoming BE)

Personally, due to the amount of effort to provide a well stocked **and** balanced shop from top to bottom, I made the executive decision to market myself almost exclusively to the mid-high end market (cut out the low end and uber end).
