Thread: Pricing of pets
been wondering that myself... initially, I pegged prices at 1k per level, with an extra 10k tacked on if the critter had a ranged attack. a guildie mentioned he thought that was too low but didn't really have any ideas on how to fix it
suggestions would be appreciated ![]()
With anything, price them for what you think they're worth. If you seem to sell a lot of them, raise your prices a bit. If you never sell any, lower them.
Prices vary from server to server. One way you can check prices is to do a galaxy wise search on bazzar.

I was charging 1k per CL but I've started making nice lower level pets with high health, so I'm now charging 10 credits perevery health point.
A level 70 kimogila with 8400 health will be 84000 credits. A level 50 Kimogila with 8400 health will be 84000 credits. I think this is fair.

You will know when you have hit the right price because you will:
- have enough money to do what you want to do (within REASON of course)
- have enough game time to do what you want to do
ie.
- too high and you will not get enough sales to make you happy
- too low and you will be forced to increase your prices b/c you are spending too much time making pets and stocking your vendor.
Price isn't everything - there is also convienience, customer service, longevity and stableness of your shop as well (this is something that I have personally totally failed to maintain and now need to spend several months building up my reputation again since it was founded on being a reliable source of always in-stock non-CH mounts).
