I would LOVE to know WTH this is and how to do it

Bio-Linking is in no way connected to the Bio-Engineer...

Some items have the property that they require bio-linking before you can use them. I know this for several quest rewards and for factional armour. You can not use those items without them bio-linked, as soon as the link is made, only the person who made the link is able to use them, so trading the item away is not possible any more.
