Just wondering. Since I have been reading his work for quite some time. Ever since I started a second account and made a BE - Hit master yesterday!

He has been an inspiration to the community and from what I have read from him and others, one of the most knowledgable MBEs out there.

Hoping for his return soon.

????!!!!???? banned? I thought something was missing from the board. Hope it's only temporary. As for the other thread being off topic...to which one of those other forums should we be posting about the loss of one of our most vocal members? That makes no sense, just looks like censorship to me.

The thread got closed for being off topic..... how is discussing how a Bio Engineer got banned not a topic for the Bio Engineering forum?

It is pretty... not good that he got banned (I am trying to keep it clean, fearing Big Brother might be listening) and I hope it is nothing major and that he will be back soon. Really, it could happen to anyone who presses the wrong button with a moderator or some of the other powers that be.

Perhaps Jeassa is the moderator of this forum? She doesn't seem to know what is and what is not off topic in the forums she's moderating. Usually she kills the correct thread and leaves the off topic yahoo's to post whatever they may want. She'll probably even ban me again like she had before for saying this. Do I need to send in another letter to your supervisor Jeassa?

Bans tend to be levied for 3 days. We all know there is a 12 year old on these boards who likes to one-star everything and TAl is one of his favorite targets, I'm guessing the same kid reports Tal every time he says something that might violate the vague board guidelines.

I was banned a month or so ago for asking the devs to remove a certain anatomical part from another anatomical part and get milk into the game after 6 months.

I remember reading that... it was great.

So, anyone want to debate the useage of the Farmer profession in SWG, since theBE profession took over the Farmer profession in Beta? Do you think there is still a need for a true Farmer Profession? Discuss amongst yourselves...

Now, off topic I have no idea why a discussion regarding the status of one of the more prominent memebers of the BE forum is considered off topic for said forum. If Talthazar got banned, I wonder if they would allow that post to stay since he is the correspondent...

It wasn't Jeassa, it was Snaykinn that locked it.

There are two theories.

1. He called a moderator the "N" word (also has"i","a" and "z" in it). If thats the case it should be a suspension, not a ban.

2. Someone mentioned it was at the same time as the smuggler bans. If it was for that, it's a permaban.

Of course, it could have been something elseentirely. Hopefully it was 1. He's a fiesty little fella and I can imagine him doing that

Looks like it was a 3 day slap on the wrist for saying the**poke-mon** were behaving like **poke-mon**. Frankly I've thrown far more abuse at Keldarin but it looks like you only need to be concerned about the people who have the Banbutton less than a click away. Nice even handed moderation isnt it....
