Ok, you add something to the game....people use it and sell it as product.....and quite an expensive product.....devs decide it's invalid without warning......take away that expensive product from purchaser and tell them to foog off and get a new weaker one and forget about getting that 100k back from the initial purchase??

I mean, i do agree the pets were silly, didnt stop me from tryin one uber kitty, but god dammmit, get on top of things you jokers and make it right. Adding a "Super cool new BE system" to the game and taking it away along with all that it produced with no compensation is lame as can be

This isn't the last nerf, trust me. Once we create some great clones with nice stats, those will be nerfed as well.

As a Ex MCH you should have known these pets were not what they seemed. Shame on you for not thinking twice about SOE "Fixing" these pets. I mean, if they adjusted the CL on the pet and it came out as a CL55 would you pickup MCH to use it again?

I didn't sell these pets because I knew it was something that would come back to haunt me if I did. I was asked plenty of times to make them but each time I said no.

So i guess the moral of this story is. It sucks to be a sucker who bought one of these and it sucks to be the BE that sold these. SOE sucks because they put this buggy system live without fully testing it, but that is what I've come to expect from them, after all I was in the beta [and still am up til a point]

screw you for saying shame on you to him. They gave him the tooks and he used them, not all of us are blessed with this "common" sence everyone likes to talk about. This amazing book in our heads with all the answers to what is right and wrong. Why give them the ability to do bad things and then punish them for it. Your job as a BE is to make the best pet you can.

I would be pretty pissed if i dropped all my CH and really relied on this kitty, but it was just an amusing item to purchase. Kitty can't deal Unarmed hit3

And I do make the best pets that I can. I have a nice CL70 Kimogila that I'm proud of. Also a nice CL64 Slice Hound I'm proud of. The keyword here is "Combat Level" and how it is used to describe a creatures stats.

The day a CL2 pet has the same stats as my CL64 slice hound, we know there is a problem. My job is to play the game, but also to report any bugs that I may find. We found a bug and that bug was fixed. So whining about how unfair it is to those who can't call these pets anymore. SOE is not going to change their stance on this so get over it.

You agree to their rules every single time you hit the I Agree button before playing the game. So get used to them fixing things as they see it fit and not how you want it done. I think they should have handled it differently and I voiced my opinion on that, but I also accept that I don't have the final say on what does what.

If you think they are doing a crappy job, then cancel your account and find something else to play. Learn C++ and any other programming language and create your own game, then you will have the final say and control over what goes into the product.

Yes it sucks that another legit aspect of the game has been broken, but that will be fixed. Just stop complaining about how these pets should be allowed in the game and how SOE was wrong for putting an end to this stuff.

Ber.. I make pets for people and you know what? 99% of the time I just give them away. I don't care about the $$ it's all virtual. Yes for me it's about being honest and not screwing over the people I play with.

If you were on tarquinas, I'd be happy to make you a crappy pet for free. For people who don't bother me about having particular stats, I give them a pet. If I want to make $$ in this game I could do it, but I want to feel like I earned it.

I know the new clone system is buggy so for the most part, anything I make I consider and experiment and will be more than happy to give it away. I can't use it and its silly to delete it.

its sad its an acceptable deviance to you for them to have broken pets in the game that are invalid. I would not have posted anything had they upped the CL levels, lowered the stats etc.. I became a CH because i really liked my uber pet, not cause he was a special cl10 uber one, but because it was nice having a cool cat helping me out and INSPIRED me to be a CH, and so i can LEGALLY lol use it. I have the right the "whine" the same way you have a right to say you think im wrong. Clearly they have messed up, they posted to the live forums saying so. I think it was a horrible error on their part, and a sad SAD way to fix things (ehem break them more). Having "invalid" objects is the game is unaceptable. THats like if you went to a returant and you couldnt sit at a table because the chairs didnt work and would break if you sat in them. THat would be STUPID on the part of the returant to keep broken chairs in there. Get it?

If you read mah post it's not about whining or wanting something to return to the game or stay the way it was or blah blah, principle and service, that is all.

It's nothin troubling me too much, it's not gonna slow my turd at lunch time, i sit back most of the time and play a fun experience, but it gets a little silly from my perspective how little these guys actually work and communicate with us on these game issues that we discover.

Bindy where did I say that SOE was fully correct in what they did? I didn't. I even went as far to say I thought they should have changed the CL or the stats to match the pet.

What bothers me is for the last few days you posted how these pets are great for the game and how using them is great. When those of us stated this was a bug and that it shouldn't be then came the "How do you know it's a bug" threads.

nonCH should not have been able to use these pets, that is the bottom line. As a CH you should have better understanding what it means to be able to control a pet of such power. I know I would be upset if I spent all my hard earned skillpoints only to have some guy who has not a lick of CH in them to be able to use a pet much more powerful than me.

nonCH pets are not there to give you an ultimate chance to excel in combat. They are mainly there as mounts and companionship. With also giving you the chance to escape a combat situation that you might not be able to handle alone.

That is my point. And I've stated this over and over and over again to anybody that has come forward and endorsed these pets. I'm not trying to bash you in any way and I don't hold anything personal as to what is said.

I'm just trying to make a good point on how these pets could have upset the entire balance of the combat system. Something had to be done to stop it. I personally would have stopped the spawning of the NK's to start with. It's not like your not going to be able to control a nice high level pet, but just your not going to be able to do so as somebody who does not invest in the skills to do so.

I liked by uber pet, so what, i didnt say I thought non-ch's should have RANCHORS, in fact in several posts I said a BE should be ABLE TO MAKE PETS better then can be tamed, say like a 3k ham with no armor. Thats all I said. We are both agreeing yet we are arguing, its stupid!
