Thread: Holo BE Advice Needed
Hi. I recently got to master BE for my first holocron and decided that I'd play around with it a bit before moving on to my second holo. But it has been giving me more questions than making things very frustrating for me. I've been reading creature recipes and other messages on this message board with the hopes that I might clear some of these questions up but so far, I'm still as confused as ever. I've attempted making creatures using the recipes I've found here but their stats never come even remotely close to the ones in the recipe. Oh I've come up with some pretty good low to mid-level creatures that have some good stats as well as special attacks but nothing above a level 40. My biggest confusion is just how to mix the dna samples to create higher level creatures. My second biggest problem is getting fortitude experimented high enough to give my new creature armor. Before I drop BE to concentrate on my next holo, my one wish is to make a really good kimogila for myself (I am also a master CH). If anyone has any insights into any of these issues, I would really like to hear from you. If you happen to play on Chilastra, look up Kattnyp. If not, I'll be checking the message board here for any responses. Thanks!

Sounds like you have to sample higher level creatures. Getting CL high enough is the least of my worries. I spend more time worrying about going over CL 70. See http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=bio-engineer&message.id=47781for some really nice high level creatures on Dathomir and Endor.

The main thing here is to sample creatures with high enough fortitude. The combined fortitude will be 40% slot 1 and 25% each slots 2 and 5. So slot 1 and either slot 2 or 5 should definitely be from a creaure with armor. You couldput DNA from a creature without armor in slot 2 or 5, but make sure the sample has good fortitude, say, above 300,and choose something with high Special Protections in Kinetic and/or Energy.
... easier to read.
