Thread: Fish meat?

I hope someone can help me. Can anyone give me some advice on getting this a little faster? I tried my hand at fishing last night, and in 90 minutes I managed to get 70 units. That's pathetic. are there better locations or better planets to fish more meat per hour? I saw anyone from 1 to 12 units per fish. Is that normal?

It's normal. 1-12 units depending on the size of the fish. Supposedly, on the test centre, they are bringing up the quantity of fish meat which you fillet from fishes. Unfortunately now though, we're pretty much stuck with fishing for long periods.
Best advice is to go to an area with Fish Quantity (I forget exactly what they call it..)rated 5 stars, and no vegetation.
Another good tip is to search for a fishing guide, down in the Ranger/Scout Forums. Vorgel's Power Fishing Guide or something like that.
Alternatively, you could find a few nuts like me, who enjoy fishing, and pull in about 300-400 units of fish over the weekends. It's a good way for me to relax, after those tense, back breaking, and some would say futile trips to Dathomir. I'm sure there are these people out there on your server, who'd be more than glad to sell to you. Just be prepared to pay though, if the fish is any good.
Heh, and if you were going to ask, I'm on Chimeara (Euro Server)
Good luck with the fishies! It actually gets quite addicitive, fishing that is, if you stick long with it enough. I'm currently fishing to break my record size fish.

Go to the scout boards... I think it's delta... He put up some kick ass posts on all things scouting.. including fishing... he is to scouts what Tal is to BE's...Really know the prof.
