Oky, bit of an odd question, when making a pet is it quite easy to accidentially not notice that a stat is different, in this case light armour?

I ask simply because i've bought a fair few pets now and for the 2nd time i only noticed a pet that i paid to have light armour on didn't, i know it's quite silly not to notice this in the trade window.

Hrm, the first time the BE apologised, i kept the pet anyway and decideded to see what some other BE's could offer, well now yet again i've ended up with a nice pet, but considering all i want it to do is tank not having light armour really mucks things up :/ Doesn't help that he logged off right away afterwards either, hohum, may be jumping to conclusions and it was another genuine mistake.

But again, is it really that easy to accidently miss light armour on pets? Hohum, lvl 31 gurreck anyone?

I'd say number 1 rule to look at is Creature Level. If it's level 31 the odds of it having light armor are very low. On average my Armored creatures can be in the 40 to 35 range. Usually in the middle. Some of it can depend on luck and what resists are added on top of it. I find armored pets to be directed at a certain type of buyer. So I gear some with Lower resists and High Damage with DOT's like Poison and Disease. The other type is a tank with lower damage but able to stand against a danger animal long enough for your weapons to do their job.

Oh yes, i knew it would have been a great pet at lvl 31 to have light armour, hence i paid him pretty well, i was just wondering if during the final stages of crafting it was possible to miss that a stat had changed?

Making a CL26-30 pet with armor using first gen dna is easy - just take one of the lower CL AR1 wilds as samples (for example, arachne warriors at CL42 will invariably produce something at CL30) and ONLY experiment on Physique enough to get fortitude to 500 - bingo, you have dropped enough of the other stats to take the clone down to CL30 and still have light armor. And in that example with a pair of pretty nice specials (strong poison and blind).

I vendor sale or only do custom work, if see a lvl 28 for 145k, can pretty much bet it has high kinetic and light armor, if see a lvl 31 for 31k it doesnt
