Hi everyone, I wanted to start off by saying I have a bio pet and I really love him. I swear half the time he is a better friend then most people are in the game and because my male squall is so cute and lovelable hes more fun to watch and talk to then other people. But here is what I was thinking as a suggestion and if people support it I would love to see it happen.

#1 I REALLY WISH we had a choice to keep our pets small. My male squall is way to cute when he is first born and TINY I love him that way and since these are bio eng'd pets why could they be bio'd to be kept small? If you can make a pet you can make him do anything you want him to do as a clone. So this would be something you could select from the very start and ask the customer do you want him small or do you want him to grow to full strength. I NEVER take my pet into combat so him being weak isnt a problem.. As long as he is cute and cuddly thats all I want.

#2 Why bio eng's cant teach bio pets Trick 1 and Trick 2 is just insane. Its so hard to from a MCH to train your pet who has an open slot. No one rarely has open slots to do this.

These were just some thoughts I had and hopefully I can get some support and make them come true

I totally agree about the size thing. I've always wanted one of those BIG squalls on Rori and was actually real dissapointed when all we could make was the little ones, so definitely would be awesome if we could affect size.

As far as the "trick1/trick2" is concerned though, dunno if I agree there. It's a CH skill, and I'd hate to "steal" it from them. They gotta make a living too

I also agree on the first comment, but disagree on the second one. The reason the MCH has his datapad full is because we are not given enough space for our pets. There's really no reason to limit pet storage, but they do for some reason. We should get that changed instead of giving our skills away.

As both a CH and a BE on seprate accounts I think it would be just fine if BE'd pets cl<10 came with at least the 2 tricks and follow learned but just set to a default seting (IE follow trick1 trick2 for the commands) that would give the RP people something to play with without haveing to pester CH's all the time. actualy I wouldnt mind that much if all commands came defult for non CH pets cause I'm sick of people wanting me to train their mount for them and expect to pay little or nothing for my time.

As a BE I'd love to be able to control the final size of the pets I make. Think of a midget rancor about the size of an R2 unit or a squall the size of a kimo the thing I'd realy love is some bird skins. something that could fly and actualy keep up with a swoop (couple skins can keep up with a landspeeder curently but non keep up with my swoop for long). in adition some flightless birds as well. Someone asked me for a pharple today but had to tell him we couldnt make those (pharples are the dodo birds on lok with the tucan beaks)

To Upgrade something implies that you are adding too, enhancing, and fixing the thing that you are upgrading. The CU does not do this, it is not adding too, enhancing, or fixing the combat system that is in place, it is replacing the innovative SWG system with the generic one used by its competitors. Be honest and stop calling it the CU, Call it the CR (combat replacement) instead

Dramatically changing pet size either say would be the best thing they could add to our class.

I agree with first point. Sizing our creations would be a real plus!

second point.. I dont think it would be fair to give any CH earned skills to BE. On the other hand I am nearly master CH myself and thus I train the pets I sell to customers at no extra charge . I believe many BE also have CH skills so are probably able to do accomidate thier customers.

i'm going to get creature manager (currently just 0002 atm)

since most BE's can just spend the 15 extra points to get novice ch(and most have exp IV or master scout anyway for mask scent so it's only really 6 points) just take your pet back to the BE you bought it from and see if he or she doesn't have any ch

Just as a tip,

a MCH isn't required for nonCH pets. You can use secure trade and drag and drop from the datapad if it is a nonCH pet.

CH pets (i.e. CL >10) need to know the transfer command (available at MCH).

And another tip, I believe any player can try and tame a BE pet. This will allow the pet to grow, even if it is currently unable to be trained
