Ranger Question

With the new changes to Chef etc..

What are the various animal organics that you need now?

Also be nice to know what stats are important and how they are weighted as well.

Meat, meat, meat. Always meat. While there are specific meats for some of our chef tissues, the one that is most in demand just uses any meat. All of our stuff depends on OQ, PE and Flavor equally. So, find the meat on your server where those three add up to 2000+ and go to town on it. If it doesn't exist in sufficient quantities, go for whatever is closest to those numbers.

One other note: Dathomirian Insect Meat is always a BE need, for Pet Stim-Cs. Gaping Spiders and one mite-like creature whose name escapes me gives this.

What Scorus left out was Meat. Though if you happen to find some super high quality Milk, that can be used in place of Meat wherever "Creature Food" is required, which is just about everything. Used to make tissues, Chef additives, and pets.

Yes, there IS Meat in that Vasarian Brandy. Those Protein Wafers taste a little Gamey? Sorry, had to use Wild Meat. What's the secret ingrediant in my Beer you ask? Meat!

So Meat, Meat, Milk, Meat, more Meat, maybe a little more Milk, and Meat.

Oh, and Meat.

but not only... meat.. sometimes hide and bones. some of the tissues like tensile resist and myoflex call for other things. but it's pretty much 99% meat and 0.5% each of the other stuff. :-)

Could have sworn you were the one selling for around 100c per unit and 20cpu as a minimum.

Different things that BEs make use Insect Meat, Reptile Meat, Herbivore Meat, Carnivore Meat, Wild Meat, Domesticated Meat and Avian Meat (am I forgetting any?). We also have some recipes that require Bones and Avian Bones. We have some hides things, but I can't recall anything off the top of my head that requires specific kinds of hides. The only planet-specific thing that we need is Dathomirian Insect Meat. Milk, mollusks and seafood are also required in a couple of recipes. Most of that stuff is just needed for tailor tissues, our orders for those are in much smaller quantities than chef tissues so the big numbers are not required.

The chef tissues that are most in demand and creatures we make all just require generic meat, any will do as long as the quality is good.

I don't think we use avian meat (in particular)unless that's for some new fangled chef tissue I haven't made yet. There are certainly some meats that are more useful to BE's than others. Because some are used in more schematics than others, some are harder to get, and some tissues sell better than others. If I ranger came to me and asked me to rank each type of meat in terms of what I'd pay the most for assuming equal quantity and quality I'd probably rank them thusly based on my usage (which is basically making all the tailor tissues in quantities proportional to their desirability, pet stims B-D, and only the most popular chef tissues).

1) fish

2) reptile

3) insect

4) wild

5) herbivore

6) carnivore

7) mollusk

8) domestic

9) avian

Very True (for the most part).

I don't take orders for anything that I don't charge at least 20 cpu for. Incidentally I use the term charge loosely.. Idon't have a set fee or formula. I just wait until I see someone make an offer that I like.

I sell grinding junk that I get from time to time for 10 cpu. This is usually on the bazaar where it is gone inside of 4-5 hours.

Recently been some offers on Bloodfin of 100 cpu, I went and got that guy 10k , for some Lok avian and and another guy offered me 125 cpu for the same stuff so I went and got another 10k. *shrug* that's what they offered so bingo.. they had my dedicated service for a few days.

I've sold some stuff I had in my back inventory for 200 cpu before of a rare wooly hide that an armorsmith wanted badly.

I don't apologize forwhat i get paidbecause well frankly i can always sell whatever I have within a few hours. And people are always free to hunt for themselves if they think it's too high. Yet somehow I get all these tells every night wanting to hire me.. That tells me that to quite a few people it's worth it to them to have me do their hunting.

Thanks for the input from everyone.. I'll keep an eye out on the various meats that I haven't paid attention to before.
