Thread: What to ask for when ordering pets?

Things we can effect
Skin type
Difficulty level
Damage (trade off against level max 499 ie the more we exp on damage the hight the pet level goes) Most customer of mine look for health first then damage as there is no point in a pet that is going to die in a couple of hits. The CH skills like enbodyment are great additions to a high health pet.
We can also effect aggression levels however that is what the CH's skills / specials are for not so much in the per craft. Some will shoot me down for that im sure but I as a crafter will not spend hours upon hours to get 1% more aggression.
Armor - We cannot effect. Regardless of what the pet deed says this value is set upon taming and based upon the DL of the pet.

Just so you know, the pets that had to respec their stats were pre-Combat Upgrade.

thats what i assumed. its very frustrating to have the pet you always wanted, pull it out, train it. pull it out again adn get eh respec window, which either wotn let you respec it, or when you do , if its under level 75 willallow you to do so but becomes useless, if it is lvl 75 or above with the respec,m, it tells you so and trys to do its stats rather then lvl....helpfull, but kinda wrong. how can the game let me respec a be pet to lvl74, which is unuseble, and not tell me that is happening? I had a be kadu or somethingt hat was lvl 24, when I pulled it out it respeced to lvl71...DOH!!!
so what you are saying is that if ti post CU it shouldnot need a respec, and its stats will stay the same?

Yes, however there is one difference. Some pets can have a damage higher than 499 when crafted, but when they are called out the respec stats window pops back up.
This is just hearsay, so you might want to look at the max damage on what you buy until some Vet here answeres that question.
Hey very good advice!! you hit the nail right on tehhead with this one. thanks for the info. one last request. Since i have noly goofed around with a MBE to make soem bio clothes, I didnt really pay attention to what exactly you can make. is there a link that one can go to to see exactly what animals( skins)BE can make, for the noob, who wants to do the leg work, make a request that does not make them look as though they are ...ahem...curtesy of E-bay? For example I KNOW what I want..i just dont know what its called for you all, and my powers of explination are limited, so I think it would be like banging my and your head against a wall! to be honest, there is just too much info in all of these boards..heheh

What I would like from a customer is:
max CL
Skin
Tank or Damage Dealer
Examples:
"I would like a CL 35 Razor Cat tank"
"I want a CL 70Hermit Spiderdamage dealer"
It's beginning to look like wild pets will be better for damage:
CL 68 Blood-frenzied Boar Wolf with innate Marring Storm L3
CL 36 Hanadak Drifter with innate Marring Storm L1 (pair with a CL 34 BE pet)
I think BE pets will be better for tanking though, especially if your tank doesn't need to do any significant damage.
Also, I'm just giving advice on PvE pets since that is all I do.I assume aPvP pet would be much more complicated - you would want health, damage, and states (offensive and defensive) for an ideal PvP pet.

Wild pets are not a good choice for damage.
Bio-engineered pets attack at twice the speed of wild pets.
This means that a BE pet that does 250 damage will out-damage ANYTHING in the wild.
Good point. I was't thinking about the attack speed. Since I've been gathering abilities (got MCH yesterday

, and now have all the L1 abilities, 13 L2s, and 2 L3s), I haven't been using my BE pets.
