How do medics find "inorganic" substances? It is easy to find organic ones but not inorganic. what do I have to do?

Inorganic substances for the Stim are metals. Artisans get the object that surveys the land and then samples or mines the metal. I tried it last night, best I could find was an area with 47% aluminum and it took about two hours to get 200 pieces.

Get yourself a Mineral survey kit so u can survey the land for gemstones/ores etc then once u find a good spot (best 2 find something 75%) u then can gather samples.
Some1 correct me if i'm wrong but u can use any survey kit with out novice artisan but would be hard for u 2 find any good spots?
In any case its a good point 2 have novice artisan train anyway hehe.

Which stats are critical when crafting stims? Is it just OQ and PE across the board?
Are stats critical in the subcomponents? (they are not in chef products).
thanks!

OQ and PE are all that matter in stim Dproduction. The schematics are OQ66% PE33% for every portion of the product (subs and final assembly alike). However, due to missing PE in certain ingredients, the actual weightings (for power) are:
aLS
Dant Berries OQ50% PE50%
Talusian Water OQ100%
aBEC
Lok Wild Wheat OQ50% PE50% - PE is capped at 700
Tatooine Fiberplast OQ100%
aCRDM
Herbivore Meat OQ66% PE33% - PE is capped at 700
Class 4 Liq Petro OQ66% PE33%
Final Assembly (for power)
Tatooine Fiberplast OQ100%
Seeds OQ50% PE50%
Final Assembly (for charges)
Tatooine Fiberplast OQ50% UT50%
Seeds OQ100%
I routinely ignore charges when crafting stims (since most of the public do).

You are welcome ![]()
By the way - resource stats are very important in making chef components as a BE (I mean tissues). If you were refering to actual chef subcomponents, or the tissue to additive conversion then I cannot speak for that. However, speaking for BEs, the tissues that we make do require very high end materials...

If you need an easy reference, a good rule of thumb is:
OQ is most important, then PE. DR has a very small play and the resources you use on the final product are more important then component resources.
