Thread: is there any way to determine the original donor's level from a DNA sample?

When I was working out the formula for determining pet level, I had two lines ... one for wild DNA and the other for template DNA. I knew the level for both. The wild DNA did NOT fit along the same curve as the template DNA, but it did seem to fit along a curve - just not the same one - it had relatively the same shape. Once I figured out that there was going to be nothing I could do to make the wild DNA fit onto the curve (I'm so patient I only spent a few hours on this), I threw out all the wild DNA and concentrated on the template DNA samples, as I was interested in the practical use of predicting creature level from template stats.


However, I believe it is possible to predict the level from the wild DNA stats. I do not know if it is possible to predict it from mission DNA.


There is room for research on both of the above - as it stands now there is no equation you can work backwards from - at least ... not posted on this forum ...
