1. put the cat OUT of the room or put kitty munchies on the floor so it will stay off the keyb.

2. make sure your inventory isn't full up. You won't be the first BE to not be able to sample b/c their inventory is full.

holy bats catman I guess I won't be the last. inventory is full. but but... did I miss the message where it says, you can't get a sample you dunder head cause your inventory is full?

No because there is no message for dumbies like me.

Nope - you see ... we don't GET a message We have to intuit. Because we are clever and patient you see.

Oh .. and don't feel bad ... our noble correspondant did the same thing not too long ago himself (hehe).

I haven't been able to get one single DNA today I'm a master BE with alot of space in my inventory and I've tried to sample every creature / level there is. I get a message sayin 'You cannot sample DNA from that target'. What do I do now? Tried loggin out/in/out/in, shuttle, fight, log out for some hours, get incap'ed, die + clone... This suck.

And if you are in a cantina INSIDE a player you are too far away to listen/watch. Wonder if it is the same bug and if it is, it is VERY annoying. Sorry about the sampling problems Nam

Was this on Talus mate? cos i had similar problems the other night only on talus, one minute i would be hapily sampling away and the next it would say i can't sample then my sample macro wouldnt work so i'd try with the radial menu and the option wouldnt be there.

I've been on dath replacing some lost DNA (long story) and have just about had the worst luck. 4 hours now and very few successes and almost no VHQ DNA. i think all told i am at 10 samples so far .... i am going for lvl 75 Malklocs ( that might be the reason. however prior to the last update this DNA trip would have been over in about another hour and i would be overflowing in DNA.
