Thread: Info about Bio-Eng Rancor and Taming the deed plz
Hello all,
I'm a 3-2-2-4 Creature Handler and just found a great deal from a friendly Bio-Eng on a Rancor. My question is: If I pull it out of my inventory to tame it, knowing I still cannot use the Rancor, will I still be able to store it on my datapad? I don't want to tame the Rancor deed, and then not be able to store it to my datapad. I plan on holding the big guy until I can use him, but I couldn't pass up the deal. I do not know how grown it is, or when the deed was made, if that is info you require. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Satris
Most likely you will not be able to tame the rancor. I am fairly sure you have to be able to tame the wild version to be able to tame the BE version.
All BE pets are like pets tamed in the wild. They start out as babies and take about a week to grow.
While I am not aMaster Bio-Eng (4,0,4,4)yet or a Master CH (1,1,0,1), but from my experience, you need to be able to handle the creature before you can use the Tame feature on the deed. And from my experience all my creatures start as babies.
If I'm wrong, please would a Master post and clarify... it's still new to me and I am looking to learn
Thanks for the responses. One more thing I noticed, When I highlight the rancor deed with my mouse cursor, it DOES give me the lit-up version of tame (not the shaded not able version) on the rotary dial. Maybe I should just try it, seeing as it appears he will be a baby. lol, nope, I'll wait for more BE info. Thanks for the info all.
novices, gah!
when taming a deed, there is no % chance to tame. It's a no fail tame. and it only works if you have the required skill to call the creature at full strength. so, in this case he cant tame it till he is at 4/4/4/4
