Thread: can we use the kimo skin with a lower CL DNA and still able to tame him?
*sigh*
I really hope they don't bastardize the MCH's dream pet by allowing current dabblers the ability to use our "best" pets... even if they are lower in CL than before.
I cringe at the thought of CL10 rancors or CL20 kimogilas...
I for one, will give anyone who asks for a CL10 rancor the finger... =)

From what I read, when you lower the creature level of a pet, the full grown size of it is reduced also. So there is still going to be a visual distinction between a lvl 40 kimo and a lvl 60 (besides the lvl 40 also having a lower HAM). I agree though that there needs to be some limit on how low you can make some creatures. There's just something wrong with the thought of little lvl 10 rancors and kimos running around!
HA HA HAAA Mortgarra - I couldnt agree more!!! I already have people asking me to make them and I even had some nut ask me to make him one for 800 credits. I quickly put his arse on ignore.
You can bet your bum I wont be selling the Kimo to just anyone and if I do sell them it wont be cheap. Maybe its just me but the Kimo is special and shouldnt be just sold to anyone.

From what I have heard, you choose the skin, then you choose how high to set it's HAM, resists, armor, DOT, damage, etc. your finished product determines the CL. so if you chose the Kimo skin, gave it 1k HAM, and armor rating of light, you might have a kimo under CL 10.
this is how I understand the new system to be, feel free to correct me.
