Dunno if this should be on CH boards or this one, but here goes: I picked up a Blurrg from a BE's vendor, had really nice stats and all, when I tried to tame it from my inventory I was given a message that my container was full and need to remove some pets from it...kinda strange when I am a MCH and only have about 8 pets in the datapack...anyway I was told that there was a bug with the BE Blurrg, is that true? if so is there going to be a fix for it or will my poor little T-rex wannabe be forever a doorstop in my house?

The Bluurg is bugged and you will never be able to tame it. It embarrasses me that a BE would actually sell one, but I guess some people don't care about their reputation. I wish that they did care about the reputation of the Profession though.

I suggest you contact the creator of the Bluurg by email asking for your money back. If they refuse, go to the Server web site and make that person known. This might be necessary, anyone one that had low enough ethics to sell one in the first place is probably not very available.

Blurrgs are bugged and untamable, they might work again after the new patch however they'll most likely end up as CL50 to match their wild versions.

Don't give up on it yet. Wait till the vehicle patch goes live, then try again. They should be fixed, but it is unclear as of yet if the changes will be retroactive. It would also seem that in the past that pre patch critters that have been fixed have been tamebale post patch. Case in point would be bols.

People sell them as furniture which is probably why it only cost 5K.

Not every BE knows they make bugged animals either. Not every BE comes to this forum. A blurrg is crafted at a low clone level and is the first cool animal a BE can make. Itnever reallysurprises me when I see a novice BE running through town spamming cool blurrg for sale.

SWG should be ashamed of themselves for allowing bugged animals to be crafted by bio-engineers for so long. I place the blame squarely on their shoulders.

Boo to you for assuming every BE has ch skills and reads the message boards. There's an extremlely good chance that a BE crafted a blurrg, saw his nice stats, and sold him fully unaware of the bug.

Blurrg's do make nice house pets

I have a question though, is it me, or are the Blurrgs we make unsamplable? I've made several, and I can't sample them if my life depended on it. I even have Sampling 4!

Thats a new thing...The sampling of higher level things is now more likely to fail...and there are now level caps.

Thats why I love the posts about sampling Mutant Rancors.....LOL

They should be unable to do so or fail....LMAO

Kind of funny, when you see people make up storys yet have no clue because they have not used a skill lately.
