Thread: Non-CH dewback possible?

I don't have burning desire to be a creature handler for battle purposes. I just really want a dewback ride to set me apart from all the swoopers. Im silly like that.

I know the canibal and mountain dewbacks are too high level, but can a lesser-dewback or any other of the weaker types be ridden by a non-ch?

If not, what critters are mountable?

I have a dewback that is lvl 10, around 1000Ham 130 dmg and vulnerable to everything. He was made for me by a BE before I started down this path. He is almost the same size as a regular dewback, so I think that is an advantage over the low level natural pets. Talk real nice to a good BE on your server and offer him loads of credits and you should be able to get what you want.

If someone is just after a mount and not bothered by the stats, you shouldn't need to pay much for a dewback mount. I knocked one up the other day for a player and charged 5k, simply because 5k is my minimum price for a pet. You should only get charged a high amount if you're after specific stats and the BE has to spend some time creating a pet that meets the requirements.

I made a Dewback Level 9 with 2.5k Health KR39ish, vulnerable to everything else. So, I think it is very possible. This was a multi-generation pet I made basically throwing stuff together as I was grinding. I landed an Amazing success on the final combine.

What is something like this worth, on Bria?

I believe there are actually wild dewbacks (lesser dewbacks) that are CL 10 now. And of course BE's can make them at the same CL that are better and your choice (of limited) colors. I made one for a friend and he adores it. One really neat thing about a dewback mount is that one of its tricks is to rear back on its hind legs and you can apparently do this while riding it. My friend calls his dewback "silver" and he has this hilarious macro where he says "hi ho silver" and it rears on its back legs and then charges off, lol, really fun stuff.

Well it depends on the price. I told the player I wouldn't get out of bed for less then 10k and this was the agreement we came to

I was in the genosian (or whatever) cave the other day with a bantha and one of the players said "Soon you will be ridden Bantha". Easiest 1k I ever made. The bantha is a bit sore though

Anyoner know how you get the "Master Pimp" title?
