Are you crafting genetics? You can't create a pet with the rough DNA.

Only thing I can think of, if I'm reading this right. And No, any DNA will show up regardless of quality.

Though one annoying thing is that practice mode carries from one crafting session to the next; something I usually realize about .5 seconds after I hit the button to make a template!

I hear that... Sooo true. You would think that it would reset to defaults. The game often makes assumtions that make no sense.....like

When I am making a schematic and get several failures, I want a trash can, not a permanent change.and I do not want to answer a lot of questions after that decision has been made.
