I was on Endor at the science outpost using my crafting macro to hit the next level before going out DNa gathering when I suddednly relaised I wasn't gaining any XP. This has happened b4 and all I did then was to log out and in again and all the "missing XP" returned. However, this time it didn't work, when I realised there was a Doc nearby buffing people with his droid out. I stopped my macro and right enough, I was able to craft things I would normally be able to do so near a station or droid. I moved away from the doc, restarted my macro and gained XP as I should. I'm aware that crafting stations, droids etc can alter the schematic number in the macro, but I was still crafting the correct tissue (Constrictor cloth), but not gaining the XP. Do I miss out on the XP if I'm in the vicinity of someone else's droid?

If you are in the vicinty of a droid and a crafting station this has happened before so yes.
