Thread: Has anyone made a pet with taunt....

Yeah, those fencers never stand still long enough to get a needle in em. I think everyone has /taunt though. But then again it may just come with the brawler line of skills.
Now, from what I've noticed, re-issuing the attack command sometimes makes the mob switch to your pet. Ok and before anyone goes crazy on this, spamming the attack command will only be counterproductive to you and NOT make the re-issuing of the command better. REmember that when you tell your pet to attack, it doesn't do it right away. It kinda goes into this crouch, freezes, then lunges into battle. If you spam the attack, it will just take longer for it to attack, and delay the attack its already in if you issue it midfight.
I do remember hunting with some idiot that spammed the attack command and constantly hated his pets because they never got into the fights. He apparently froze them with the attack command and he blamed them and not himself.
Also remember that sometimes a mob will lock on one attacker and NOT CHANGE ITS MIND NO MATTER WHAT! Mobs in SWG don't have the same type of "hate list" that other MMORPG's have.

my rancor has no problem with the "your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!" taunt
/shrug...... maybe yours is french canadian? they get a bit lazy on the french sometimes
