Tat herb, Domestic, and Lok Avian bone...hm...I really dont see those being any more of a drain than Herbivore and Avian, the ones docs currently buy, since they're going to be a lot rarer. Two of those are one-spawn only, another one of those only spawns a few places per shift (three really - I doubt anyoneis going togo hunting Domesticated Eopies forthat good shift of Tat Domestic lol)so the odds are low theres going to be a decent shift ofany of them at any given time. Dont be so pessimistic, i'm sure most hunters would rather hunt down that awesome Dath Carny for you for 50 cpu than go perlek-picking for 4 units of Lok Avian Bone at a time, even if it was 300 cpu lol.
Ahh but they can use the awesome Dath Carny in the B versions of these meds and with very similar results.

The new meds wont change this, though. Besides, even if there was a 1000 OQ 1000 PE spawn of one of the new meats, docs arent going to need very much of it. I suspect the new cures/innocs are going to be mostly PvP and guild centered anyway, so those docs can get their guildy RMs to go harvest them a K or two of the good meat which should be enough to keep them crafting for a long time. From what I see in the doc thread you get a lot of charges out of these new meds =)
This last week on Bria, docs were paying well over 200cpu for an avian meat spawn and they've upped their buff prices, 15k is becoming more standard so things are way way way outta control. A couple weeks ago I offered to pay 18cpu for the dath carnivore meat spawn to people in my guild, and when a couple of people took me up on it, I got balled out by the guild leader, suggesting that I was ripping people off because he was busy hunting and selling avian for something like 150cpu (at the time). I couldn't even convince him that I was using the meat, he was just sure I was turning around and reselling it for a much much higher price. So the docs are already driving us out of the meat market, even before they needed the same meat. Ah well, at least I can't possibly think of a class less fun to play then a buffer, err, I mean a doc.
Oh, and Bria still has probably the lowest prices on chef additives anywhere, lol. You're lucky if you can get 30k/crate for really good BSN. /sigh

Did you leave the guild? Man that is harsh.
That batch that I was talking to you aboot, I told him the prices that you suggested and was told I was over priced. You aren't kidding aboot the 30k for a crate.

Yea, I kinda warned you about that. But of course if you look in other server trade forums, or in pricing threads by other BE's in other galaxies here in this forum, you'll see that this price is at least 50% lower than what is pretty standard in other galaxies, and the margin on a 30k crate of BSN actually isn't all that high. Bria is just a really really bad server to be a BE in.
Also, sometimes you just have to hold firm and walk away from a deal that isn't fair to you. I actually think pricing on Bria will improve, but it takes time.

Yes if you can get guildies to hunt sufficient amount of meat you would be ok but unless your guild is HUGE wouldn't be enough for serious production of tissues. You will end up getting it from other people and now there is more compitiion for it. Just glad the Viwoh spawned before they did this.
Actually this isn't exactly true. My guild is 12 people and half of them are drunk at any given time (We're HOBO's so what canyou expect).Even so, I have enough meat to keep my factories running. I don't buy meat unless there aren't any good spawns active so I don't have the large overhead costs some tissue manufacturers have. This also makes my profit margin higher. ![]()
It wouldn't surprise me if we made the same sort of money even though I might be selling fewer tissues. I can even undercut my competitors and still come out with more money in my pockets.
