Right, the old system was one i was fairly comfortable with, you chose your target and sampled dna from it, you could garuntee that 5 creature dna types turned into creatures and experimented on the same would always turn out within reason about the same creature.
How does it work now?
If missions are always your level or a couple either side and wild spawns tend to be set within certain level ranges for the whole planet rather than for a certain creature, how do you choose your dna?
Say for example if you are on a planet and have 6 creatures all the same level will using their dna turn out the same creature no matter what or does it still rely on the stats of the specific creature, if so does a level 16 wild spawn mob give the same dna as a lvl 55 mission version of the same creature?
Are we going to still have garunteed recipes? or is it now going to be hit and miss because of the varying levels of the same creatures?
Do i now have to search not only for the same creature type that i need for my recipe but also the same level?
This is baffling me atm.

I would say don't bother with specific creatures unless you are talking about elites. Kiss the days of recipes goodbye. Of course when they add specials, we'll need to remake pets all over again anyway. So, I wouldn'tpersonally be charging CHs too much on prices with things still needing a fix.

People keep talking about elites. In terms of a creature - WHAT is an elite please?

I believe some creatures are tagged as elite - they have a lot more Health than their same-CL counterparts. I sorta remember reading something about the CL con circle being slightly different as well. You'll get more info from the CH forums though.
