I am new to the BE profession, I used the respec to make my alt a Master BE so I missed all of the nuances of the profession that I would have picked up had I grinded it out properly...

I need a creature with low CL ( I am not a CH), but I have made 2 level 10 Bantha's now, but neither of them can be trained as a mount. What am I doing wrong? Both were fully grown when I attempted to have them trained. Also, both of them were only about waste high at level 10.

Is it my choice of animals for DNA?If I remember correctly I used Level 43 piket, and some lower level stuff like 2 and 4's from Naboo or Tat.

Before the CU there were 8 mountable animals for non-CH's because the ultimate size of the animal was not scaled to the level. I cannot remember when but I think it was publish 17 - it was 'fixed' (we didn't know it was broken) and the size of the animal now depends on the level - at least for BE pets.

Therefore the only BE pets that are guaranteed to be mountable at level 10 are: brackaset, falumpaset and dewback but the dewback must be level 10 and cannot be level 9 (according to reports).

Hope that helps,

Dor
