When you (or your BE) is making the pet, you just type the words that you want in the box where the description goes. It seems that pets are taking on those names as their first titles before name training now. So where you used to get 'Dewback (baby)' you now get 'CL10 Dewback max damage - 3K Health - see my mall at 0078 -3244' as the pets' name now ![]()

You can also go a step further then this and make names with 2 tiers of words! You can do 3 but the third line is almost cut in half. Here is how...
- Go to your options screen.
- Go to the misc section.
- Click on keymapping.
- Select the Chat tab.
- Select "chat edit copy"
- Select the button to change the keymap for this command
- You can use any key combo you'd like, I personally use control+shift+C
- Now find "chat edit paste"
- Select the button to change the keymap for this command
- Again you can use any combo you like, I use control+shift+V (you get a message saying that combo is used on another command- click yes to replace it).
Withyour in game copy and paste set up, you will now do the following.
- Alt Tab or use your windows key to get to your desktop.
- Open up windows notepad (nothing fancy)
- Type your message. Remember to keep it short cause people can only see so much on your pets name.
- Here is why you use notepad... after making your first line in notepad, simply hit enter and type your second line!
- Copy this message from your notepad by selecting all the text and hitting control+C
- Now alt tab back to SWG
- When you get to the crafting stage where you can put your pets name in, select all the text in that box and hit Control+shift+V to paste your text onto the name box.
- You will see that the name now has your whole message, with spaces, punctuations, and returns!
So just to recap, instead of a name like;
Bubba
You can get a name like;
Come see my new shop!
Sentinel City, Loc XXXX XXXX
Enjoy!
